Father's Day Sunday!

Celebrating Father's this Sunday!
A child's first words are often da-da!
As daylight dawns and life begins
The first hands to hold us strong and firm
and protect us from life's stormy winds.
Side by side both mom and dad
shape our lives with words and deeds
we scoot we crawl we stand we fall
depending on these two to meet our needs
And as the years go sailing by
we find we grow we learn we mature
the seeds they planted start to grow
with hopes that they will long endure
Train up a child in the way they should go!
the Word of God reveals the clue
And when they are old they will not depart
The Father promises this is true
So every earthly dad must sow
the Word deep into the soil the heart
of every precious little child
planting victory forever from the start!
